New to BMX? Our New Rider’s League is perfect for an introduction to the sport for nearly any age
Each year we offer an introductory five-week program to the sport of BMX. New Rider’s League is for ages 4-15 and for parents ages 21 and over.
The league allows new families to learn how the sport works while riders progress gradually, riding only with other beginners. At this level, the focus is on fun, developing bike handling skills, spending quality family time and meeting new friends. Read more below about the specifics of each league and schedule

FAQS
What equipment/bike do I need?
Each rider needs to bring their own helment, wear long sleeves, pants and closed toed shoes. We have a number of loaner bikes available for all ages, however, if you’d like to bring your own bike you may. For those in the Strider league you can bring any brand of balance bike. For those in the New Rider’s League it’s often best to start with a loaner bike as BMX racing bikes are a different type of bike (and are different than a freestyle BMX bike).
CAN BOTH GIRLS/WOMEN AND BOYS/MEN PARTICIPATE?
YES! Both girls/women and boys/men are welcome to particiapte.
Why all the focus on age?
USA BMX who sanctions these leagues and our track requires everyone registers based on their date of birth. Each riders age at the time of a race determines what group they will race in to help make things fair.
